Retreat Staff

Amelia Casals

VISIONATRIX

With an eclectic background in tantra, technology, non-profits, entertainment, and business, Amelia is a shape-shifting master of personal and professional transformation.

Since 2004 she has been using these very same visioning techniques to achieve her own goals (such as traveling the world, starting five businesses, and winning the top international award in her entertainment field). With great pleasure, she has evolved her tools so that she can share her experience with others.

Amelia is a trained Sacred Intimate from the Body Electric School, holds Project Management Professional credentials, and speaks Brazilian Portuguese.  She has worked for President Bill Clinton, performed for Hugh Hefner, and raised half a million dollars to support AIDS charities. She is currently the Executive Director of a Non-Profit arts education organization, the Owner and Headmistress of a dance school in Seattle, and performs internationally as Burlesque star Miss Indigo Blue.

Aviva Levine

Yoga Instructor, E-RYT 200 & TRE® Provider

Finding comfort in movement, Aviva studied ballet, jazz, and modern dance and played competitive ultimate frisbee. After a lifetime of physical activity, multiple injuries led her to Forrest Yoga.

Trained as a Forrest Yoga teacher under Ana Forrest, Aviva is fascinated with the body’s ability to heal and transform. She is inspired to help others experience this evolution within themselves. She promotes a deeper connection with the body through modalities including Yoga, Pilates and TRE. With compassion, curiosity and humor, she creates a sweet space to move from struggle and limitation towards integration of body and mind.

During a TRE workshop she found that TRE complimented the deep transformative qualities of her personal practice and teaching. Her group classes and private lessons are an offering of the incredible benefits of simple techniques to heal chronic pain, physical and emotional trauma and injuries.

Zephyr Paquette

GOURMET CHEF

Zephyr is an innovative and eclectic chef who spent time honing her craft with Elliott Bay Cafe, Dandelion and Cafe Flora before opening her own community-based concept restaurant, Skelly and The Bean.  Her menus have always been focused on farm fresh, local ingredients and creative, delicious combinations.  Most recently at Marjorie Restaurant, Zephyr is currently Chef at Lecosho in Seattle.

Zephyr and Amelia have worked together many times in the past, most delightedly co-creating the Lingerie Brunch at the BurlyCon Burlesque Convention.

Assistant Moorea Malatt

Moorea Malatt is a folksinger, parenting doula, and sleep & potty training coach.

She is a multi-passionate mother who follows her heart, and leads with intelligence and deep wisdom.

Amelia and Moorea have been besties for years, and Amelia is delighted to have Moorea on board to help with marketing and logistical implementation of this retreat.

Assistant Joanne Cunningham

Joanne Cunningham is a professor and Moorea’s wife!  She’ll be joining us to assist the retreat and help with transportation.
